The Landhaus Beckmann is the ideal start of the Niers hiking trail

This hiking trail (approx. 21 km long) starts in Kevelaer and mostly runs directly along the Niers to almost the Dutch border. From Landhaus Beckmann the easiest point to start is near Goch. We would be happy to advise you! The hiking trail always leads along the river bank through the vast meadows and fields, past poplars and polluted willows that surround the Niers. Large parts of the Niers lowlands are under nature and landscape protection because of the diverse flora and fauna. The flat bank areas also invite you to have a picnic and inclines are hardly manageable on the entire route.
